SECTION B – FRUIT (unpolished and with stalks) 2 Dessert apples (4) – one variety, ripe or unripe. 3 Cooking apples (4) – one variety, ripe or unripe. 4 Pears (4), ripe or unripe. 5 Dish of fruit other than apples or pears – one variety.
SECTION C – BASILDON COTTAGER CUP Entries from any Basildon resident or a member of the Basildon Horticultural Society. Produce must have been grown by the exhibitor.
6 A mixed display of at least 3 of the following: flowers, herbs, fruit / vegetables. Any quantity of each item presented in your own container. Max size 450mm x 450mm (18” x 18”)

SECTION E – FLOWERS – we provide vases, water and newspaper so just bring your flowers. 23 Hydrangeas (3 heads) 25 Dahlias (decorative) small flowered 4.5”- 6.7” (3) 26 Dahlia, specimen, any size. (1 bloom) 27 Dahlia other than classes 25-26 (3) 28 Chrysanthemum (3 same colour) 29 “Best of the Bunch” bloom, any single specimen from your garden. 30 Vase of flowers of one variety not specified in this section (colour variation allowed). 31 Vase of flowers, six stems of one variety, grown from seed sown by the exhibitor in the past 12 months. 32 Vase of mixed perennial flowers from exhibitor’s garden. 33 A flowering pot plant grown in a greenhouse or dwelling. 34 A pot plant grown for its decorative foliage in a greenhouse or dwelling.
SECTION F - DECORATIVE (FLOWER ARRANGING) - Flowers/foliage can be bought or grown. Accessories allowed. 36 “Platinum Jubilee” a front facing design using flowers from any of the colours of the Jubilee (red, white, blue, purple, and/or silver) Max size 18” x 18” 37 Hand tied bouquet to include flowers and foliage presented in a vase or container.
