Schedule of Classes 2021 Classes are open to entries from everyone unless otherwise stated. Cups awarded to winners of the Section Prizes are to be held for one year. Please note that this year we have reduced the number of classes, to allow more space in the Village Hall, hence some class numbers not included.

SECTION C – BASILDON COTTAGER CUP - CLASS 6 SECTION PRIZE – The Cottager Cup 6 Mixed display of at least three of the following – flowers, herbs, fruit or vegetables. Any quantity of each item. Own container. Max size up to 45cm x 45cm (18” x 18”)
This class is open to any Basildon resident or a member of the Basildon Horticultural Society. Produce must have been grown by the exhibitor.

SPECIAL AWARDS The BANKSIAN MEDAL plus the RAYMOND HUME CUP will be awarded to the person with the most points in Sections A to E inclusive, who has not won the award in the past 3 years.
First prize: 5 points; second prize: 3 points; Third prize: 1 point.
The KENNETH HARLE CUP will be presented to the family who jointly gain the highest total of points in the Show. More than one member of a family (parents/siblings/children/spouses) must gain points to qualify for this cup. Points must be gained in at least 2 of the following 3 groups: Points gained in Sections A, B, C, D and E

Points gained in Sections H/I/J
